Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist, and competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is also the older sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champ as well as fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko is an experienced Muay Thai boxer started her career in fight sport at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to follow it up, with a silver-medal in 2007, a bronze award in 2008 and a gold award in 2011, and was the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional journey in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016 the International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she took home the 2016 IFMA Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina's final bout took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. The winner was with a majority. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship of Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round by TKO and won her next 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating the record of three-three. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she returned to the ring against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa in a unanimously-decided match, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in 2018, Shevchenko joined Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her superior striking abilities during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina was given the UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne Modafferi via split decision, after winning her debut fight. Antonina bounced back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night bonus in the fight. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn and Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but she also defeated Ariane. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
